ビデオゲームはとてもたのしいだから。 I was informed that だ from だから was the wrong verb conjugation in this sentence. What would the right way to say this be?

OpenStudy (eyesnapper):

Would it make sense to change it to this? ビデオゲームはとてもたのしいから,します。

OpenStudy (eyesnapper):

Or this? ビデオゲームはとてもたのしいだから,します。

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

In general, you end a causative clause by ですから. I would write: とてもたのしいですから、私はよくビデオゲームをします。 But I am not a native speaker.

OpenStudy (eyesnapper):

Oh. Alright. I didn't know that. Thank you for informing me. ^^

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

だ is needed to end a clause in the neutral speech with nouns or な-adjectives only. がくせいです → がくせいだ : I am a student じょうずです → じょうずだ : I/you/he is good at... whereas い-adjectives do not use だ at all: たかいです → たかい it's expensive たのしいです → たのしい it's amusing
