Can having the same area of a rectangle mean the dimensions are the same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two rectangles*

OpenStudy (xxstudyingstuffxx):

It is possible, but not always. You could have one rectangle have an area of 24 and the dimensions will be 3 x 8, or you could have another with the same area but the dimensions are 4 x 6. Make sense?

OpenStudy (xxstudyingstuffxx):

Is that what you meant, @LoveIt ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, thanks so much @XxStudyingStuffxX !!!
