No A is addition
OpenStudy (anonymous):
can u check?
OpenStudy (aishalicious1):
I know this I am confident should I explain?
OpenStudy (mathmale):
If there are no parentheses, and no exponents, then do either mult. or div. first.
Sorry, but I do not deal in answers (a, b, c, d). Please show your work with and explanation of what you did, and then i'd be happy to give you helpful feedback.

@mathmale nvm mathmale
OpenStudy (mathmale):
As you wish.
OpenStudy (aishalicious1):
Like @Mathmale said If there is no Parenthese there is no P in PEMDAS so u go to Exponents but in this particular question there r none so you go to Multiplication which is all the way at the end so then you get C
OpenStudy (xxstudyingstuffxx):
Multiplication/Division is the first order. What is farthest to the left in the equation, multiplication or division?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay,thanks! c it is

OpenStudy (mathmale):
I'd prefer that Pink show her stuff (do the problem here for us to check over).
OpenStudy (aishalicious1):
Yeah but Pink has tons of hw and is confused and just needs a new set of eyes plus as long as she can do it it wont harm her in the long run

Which operation should be performed first according to the order of operations?
44 • 2 – [(5 + 20 • 3) – 12] + 16 ÷ 2
A.
44 • 2
B.
5 + 20
C.
20 • 3
D.
16 ÷ 2
OpenStudy (xxstudyingstuffxx):
Again, it will be brackets or parentheses first. What is farthest to the left?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
5+20
OpenStudy (xxstudyingstuffxx):
You need the full thing, so it would be [(5 + 20 • 3) – 12] . Make sense?
OpenStudy (xxstudyingstuffxx):
First of all, do you know what brackets are used for?
