rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

WELCOME TO OS order of operations is PEMDAS it is the order we do things in P-parenthesis E-exponents M-multiplication D-division A- addition S-subtraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So pretty much when you have an equation you deal with the parenthesis first. Then you solve any exponents, next you would solve any multiplication from left to right, then any division from left to right, then any addition from left to right, and finally subtraction from left to right.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

multiplication and division from left to right, then addition and subtraction from left to right.
