OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

Again from a historical standpoint it could've been any of those. Employment because of what everyone lacks in own work is true, marriage because until the 1800's in any nation a woman was given a husband isntead of searching for one themselves. Politics because until late 1800's-early 1900's woman were not considered smart enough to be in politics. Then education because until the mid 1800's most nations haven't produced successful woman education system. So it could be any of them when looking at a historical standpoint.
