well the book value for year t+1 is the book value you have at the end of year t... so book value at the beginning of year 2015= book value 2014-depreciation 2014 and so on...
Double-declining balance: 2 × Straight-line depreciation rate × Book value at the beginning of the year why did you add 70000 as book value on 2014.. it should be 88000?
The first image is the example Pearson offers. And the second is my actually question.
Thats why the answers are different
