Question

So after everything that's going on the past couple of days I wanted to post the lyrics to the acoustic song going on my bands EP later this year. The song was originally a poem I wrote back in 10th grade and I didn't look at it again till moving out to go to college. The song is titled Smile (It'll be Better for Both of Us).
If you want to know the meaning or the story behind the song let me know and I will comment a full story.

@Adrianna.Gongora The story behind it is when I was 14-17 I was probably the single most depressed person in my school. So a couple of the things that kept my life together was music and literature. So I started writing a lot of poems and one of them title'd "Smile"(the song). One of my literature teachers told me how amazing it was and I should enter it in a state writing competition. I produced several free write style poems like Smile and I came in 1st in my state then 3rd in national. By the time everyone was done talking about it my life was back to the way it was before. Until I met my best friends Matt and Ryan (who are brothers so laugh it up Falcons fans). They were the ones who got me involved in music and they helped me "perfect" my voice so we all can go big one day. Pretty much if it wasn't for Matt, Ryan, and Matt's lifelong friend Stephen noticing me walking out of my apartment in tears I would've never had the opportunity to meet people like Mayday Parade, SayWeCanFly and so on.

the best part is every moment I spend with the rest of the guys of ABM it's never dull. I mean last night when Ryan slapped me in the face with provolone cheese (wrapped in his hand) and then this morning when me and Ryan got back to the house we are staying at on Orange Beach where everyone else filled up the floors with sand. It gets annoying but at this point I'll take every second of that rather than going back to how I was from the ages 14-17.

I really really love your story and your lyrics. I think its pretty deep as well as inspirational and relate-able. I'm also glad you were able to get out of the rut that you once were in and get to be able to live life.

We're still trying to raise money for it but we're hoping by the end of summer at the latest.
