Can someone help me with this one question? I only need to answer this to pass my final test: A sailboat moves north for a distance of 15.00 km when blown by a wind from the exact southeast with a force of 2.50 × 10^4 N. The sailboat travels the distance in 1.5 h. How much work was done by the wind? What was the winds power?

Do you know the equations for power and work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First we can seperate this into two parts, find work then find power Work is the energy put into an object to move it over a DISPLACEMENT it is measured in Joules and is defined as Work(joules)= Force(Newton) * Displacement(meters), or W=F*Δx

Try using that and tell me what you get
