myininaya (myininaya):

see if the same scale factor for all corresponding sides like the k the same in the following two equations: 24*k=56 and 33*k=77

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Yes, the triangles are similar.

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

56/24=2.3333 77/33=2.3333

@myininaya

myininaya (myininaya):

great see if you can figure all which pairs of angles are congruent

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

f<f c<h b<g

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

@myininaya

myininaya (myininaya):

looks great to me

myininaya (myininaya):

so you have fgh is to ....

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

fbc?

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

SAS?

myininaya (myininaya):

great yes we have this is by SAS because we say side HF is proportional to side CF and the included angle F (since we have vertical angle both F's are the same) And then we have side FB is proportional to side FG we figured they were proportional because the same k value was found when you did side HF divided by side FC and side GF divided by side FB
