I need help with Latin! I'm not sure if I'm answering these questions right to begin with, and I'm stumped after #4.

Translate the following into Latin. Watch the noun endings. The subject must agree with the verb in number.


1. I am a farmer.
Agricola sum.
2. We are poets.
Poetae sumus.
3. The water is in the sea (in the sea = in mari).
In mari est aqua.
4. They are in Italy (in Italia).
In Italia sunt.
5. You are women.

6. The family is in the house (in casa).

7. You are a sailor.

8. She is a girl.

9. Florida is a peninsula.

10. They are islands.
