The transverse axis is parallel to the __?__ -axis, and the coordinates of the center of the hyperbola are ___?___ .
for the first blank the options are x and y, the second blank's options are a) (-2,3) b) (-1,3) c) (1,3) d) (3,1)

You'd definitely be better off starting over from scratch if that doesn't look familiar. You could find the transverse axis by just plotting the given foci, and drawing a line through them, to see if it's parallel to the x or y axis The center will be the midpoint of the two foci (so find the midpoint... use the midpoint formula if you need to).
