So my teacher was shot and killed in February and its been a hard couple of weeks. So I wrote this in her memory.
For Mrs. Cook

Life is a vapor
Here for a minute and then it disappears
I never would have thought that you would be gone
Left the earth to be with the sun
Your in a beautiful place
Where there's so much mercy and grace
There's no more tears
And I'm wishing you could come visit me here
A place with gold and jasper
I know you probably couldn't be happier
And even though all of us are mourning
We're sad with knowing that you'll never be returning
We miss you to the moon and back
But there's one thing I know for a fact
You would want us to be happy
Never frown and keep smiling
Keep our heads held high
Looking up at the beautiful sky
Making sure we get out of there
Some of us not wanting to even be there
But we'll go through it cause that's what you would have wanted
Never giving up but getting to the life we've always wanted
A huge impact on our lives
I promise to never let your memory slip to the side
I think about what you would say to certain things
And I know if you could be here you would definitely stay
You were an amazing person
Making me stop for a minute
Just to consider it
Wanting to be just like you
Beautiful and seeing that smile out of the blue
No texting and driving
You just wanted to see us living
Living our life to the fullest
Not giving up and to push the limits
Get the job done
Making sure we can say I've completed the mission
We'll never forget your mission that was given
Your task was completed
Your mission will be aborted.
