OpenStudy (anonymous):

41.3333333

OpenStudy (rz172):

^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

???

OpenStudy (faiqraees):

41.3333 First division (65/39) Multiplication (1.666 x 2) Addition and Subtraction (43+3.333 -5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pemdas 41.3333

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Super teen got a different answer than yall xDD

OpenStudy (superteenblue):

but they might be right

OpenStudy (faiqraees):

@superteenblue Used a wrong technique( forgot the name). He did the whole operation from the left in sequence (Add, Divide, Multiply, Subtract) Thats why she got the wong answer

OpenStudy (superteenblue):

he not she man

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Super teen a girl or guy xD lmfao

OpenStudy (superteenblue):

guy lol

OpenStudy (ryandane):

XD

OpenStudy (superteenblue):

xd :)

OpenStudy (superteenblue):

i fan you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make use of a calculator

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Didn't give me the right answer ^

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

19?

OpenStudy (ryandane):

It's 21 actually

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

pemdas

OpenStudy (ryandane):

No tell me :$ ^

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Take me through the process ;)

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

ORDER OF OPERATIONS: remember P.E.M.D.A.S. is the order you do things in Parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Oh I see O.O so .....

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

In this case, you would do multiplication and division first, then move to addition and subtraction.

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

Have you used PEMDAS? :)

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

PEMDAS or Order of Operations: Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, then Subtraction. Follow that order and you'll get the proper answer. I hope this helps(even though so many other people said it. Lol)! Have a great day! {-Ghostgate-}

OpenStudy (ryandane):

@igmodel Naw :$

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

Do what Mr. Ghost has said. ;)

OpenStudy (ryandane):

^ why don't you rather take me through the process ;) that'd definitely a better idea :p

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

Okay, let's start: 43+65÷39×2-5 = ? There is multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. So, using PEMDAS/Order of Operations, we know we should do Multiplication, Division, Addition, then subtraction. So... 43+65/[39*2]-5 = ? Let's start with what's in the brackets, what is 39 times 2?

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

Ghosts got it ;). Thanks, Ghost!! :) @ryandane I don't pm, so if you want to talk to me, you'll have to tag me on something :)

OpenStudy (ryandane):

@ghost Not you bro lol smh

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

Okay, I'll leave you two to it then.

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

@Ghostgate I think you did a wonderful job!

OpenStudy (k12awesomeness):

I agree with @InstagramModel

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

@InstagramModel and @K12awesomeness Thanks. ;)

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Where did K12 came from

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Lol

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

soooo.. do you understand on how to do this?

OpenStudy (ryandane):

^ this is like a 6th grade question lol do you really think I actually meant to ask it .. I just made it up cause boredom just like I asked what's 9+10 :p and people responded

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

im gonna have to hurt you know. LOL

OpenStudy (ryandane):

I mean you are welcome to if you want lool

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

LOL. Naww. I'm good :P

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

Wait so there's no point in going over this problem? Lol

OpenStudy (instagrammodel):

right!

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Exactly the reason I created this 6th grade problem is to talk to yall beautiful people like you xD

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

Okay, for fun I shall solve it. xD 43+65÷39×2-5 = ? 43+65/78-5 = ? 43+0.83-5 = ? 43.83-5 = ? 38.83 = ? Hmmm, I did the Math right(I think), I guess it's because I assume the answer was going to be even, rather than a decimal.

OpenStudy (ryandane):

Eh

OpenStudy (ryandane):

@ig You sure lol ?

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

Well... PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication(Which I did first), Division(Which I did next), Addition(Which I did afterwards), then Subtraction.). I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. Lol
