1. Does the word "liberty" apply to all Americans during this period? What actions support your response?
2. How was the crucial question regarding treatment of African Americans, whether free or slaves, solved?
3. One might expect that only the elite would remain interested in politics once the Revolution was over. Is there any evidence that small farmers, craftsmen, wage laborers, women, or blacks remained politically active?

2.They solved the slave problem by making some states slave-holding and some non-slave-holding but this proved to be a problem because as a young america expanded that had a uneven number of those states.
