OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

8. You are planning to use a ceramic tile design in your new bathroom. The tiles are blue-and-white equilateral triangles. You decide to arrange the blue tiles in a hexagonal shape as shown. If the side of each tile measures 7 centimeters, what will be the exact area of each hexagonal shape? (1 point) 21 cm² 73.5 sqrt 3cm² 98 sqrt 3 cm² 1,029 cm² is it b

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Yea its B ^^

563blackghost (563blackghost):

When solving to find the area of a triangle you have to know the degree between the two sides so you have to find the missing angle.....so you would simply add 53 and 79 and then subtract by 180 to get the degree between the two sides ^^

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

hi can you help me with number 8

563blackghost (563blackghost):

The explanation I just posted was for 8 ^^

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

ok lol

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

so 48

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

@563blackghost what do i do next

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Sorry went inactive

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Next use the equation for area of Triangle ABC this is the one you use when given two sides and an angle.... \(\Huge{A=\frac{1}{2}bc(\sin A)}\)

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

a lol

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Correct ^^

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Honestly i love trig ^^

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

yay lol and trig is alright lol

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I got to go :(

OpenStudy (kaylak12345):

awwww

563blackghost (563blackghost):
