1. Solve the combined inequality showing all of your work. x + 4 > -3 and -3x ≥ -15

OpenStudy (jen543):

Subtract 4 from both sides, x>-3-4 Then simplify x>-7

OpenStudy (djbreezy):

Can you show me how to do this......and the answer???so i know how to do it next time.....plz show all your steps tho so i know how to do it next time i get a problem like this...

OpenStudy (jen543):

For x+4>-3, you subtract 4 from both sides and simplify x>-3-4 x>-7 For the second one, you divide both sides by -3, simplify x ≤ -15/-3 then you turn both negatives to positives. then simplify again x≤5

OpenStudy (djbreezy):

Thank you @Jen543
