OpenStudy (mathmagician2201):

Using several different examples of imagery, you could put the reader in the shoes of a person who is in the middle of a gun fight, or an arrow fight. Here! I breathe in; I breathe out. The fresh mountain air penetrates my senses. A slight draft of cool air blows a brownish - gold lock of hair in front of my complexion. I dip my fingertips into the crystal waters of the pristine lake in front of me. My touch triggers many waves, disturbing the stillness of the waters. I feel my bow and arrow in my left hand , with its power. I slowly rise to my feet, taking in my surroundings. The silver light of the moon casts a beautiful light over the pond. The light also casts long shadows along the ground, creating an eerie effect. I turn to head home empty handed, and hear rustling in the bushes directly behind me. I drop to the ground as an arrow slams into the bark of a tree, sending splinters flying into the air. I draw my bow, and take aim. Another arrow soars past, passing far above my head. I loose the arrow, and it flies true to the path I set it on. I hear a loud crack as the arrow finds its target. Another arrow misses me narrowly, and I draw an arrow once more. This arrow came from the top of the oak on the other side of the lagoon. I take aim, and let loose once more. The arrow mounts upon the air, and misses the treetop by a fraction of an inch. More arrows flash past me, and I attempt to dodge them all. Eventually, though, I misjudge my movement. An arrow stabs into my shoulder, and I slide to the ground. The warm blood seeps out of the wound, trickling down my shoulder. More arrows rain down on me, slicing into my flesh on my other arm, my left leg, and my chest. My breathing becomes extremely difficult; my right lung must have ruptured. The arrows stop flowing from the shadows, and I lay my head back. I focus on my breathing, and calm myself. I turn on my side, and close my eyes. I feel more of the cool wind brush against my face, and I fall into a calm sleep. Though I know what will happen, and I don’t know what is beyond, I let go of everything and fall asleep.
