The figure is drawn on centimeter grid paper. Find the perimeter of the shaded figure to the nearest tenth. A. 17.6 cm B. 10.8 cm C. 15.6 cm D. 18.0 cm
look at the triangle in the bottom right the bottom edge is 3, the vertical edge is 4 What is the length of the hypotenuse Look at the triangle top right the vertical edge is 3 the top edge is 7 use Pythagoras to find the hypotenuse the other two edges are easy to see their length add the 4 edges to get the answer
so c right???
YOu seem to have guessed that rather quickly do you want to go back and work it out?
i had it worked already just making sure it was right cause i kinda suck at this lol
show me the work to see where you went wrong
i used quick memo on my phone kinda gone already
Well you need to do it again as you made a mistake
i think you made a mistake mr
@iGreenHacked you know how to do this?
I KNOW how to do it I want YOU to know how to do it You need to use Pythagoras to find the 2 sloping sides One of them is trivial , the other needs a calculator. You see the other 2 sides are 1, and 4 ADD the 4 sides - it is not C
its not b either
I am not going to confirm or deny any more guesses just DO the work work out the two hypotenuse, using Pythagoras |dw:1459884741421:dw|
