so its 10^2+8^2=C^2
is that formula right
It's be a^2 + 8^2 = 10^2. So a^2 + 64 = 100 then get 64 to the other side by subtraction. So you'd get 36. \[36 = c ^{2}\] \[\sqrt{36}\] \[\sqrt{36} = 6\]
x = 6
