Can someone check my work? I am writing about a French speaking city.

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Just a few grammar corrections: français - sont parlées - de la Belgique - est de 120.000 "et pour le vélo." here doesn't make much sense. Otherwise all good.

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

French does not like the use of the passive voice. Whenever an English passive can be replaced by an active French "on", go for it.

Thank you both! @Vincent-Lyon.Fr I don't understand what you mean? Can you please explain further? I have updated the sentences.

"A lot of bread is eaten in France" En France, beaucoup de pain est mangé <= not used En France, on mange beaucoup de pain <= ok
