I had thought so originally but now I am entirely confused. http://theeditorsblog.net/2010/12/08/punctuation-in-dialogue/ !!! please review this link !!! it will help you gain an opinion of your own. I had seen before it needed to be a period, and I have seen it's okay to have a comma.
