How does caner work? 2. What are some prevention to stop cancer from happening? 3. Why is it so hard to find a cure for cancer? 4. How can we stop cancer from happening? 5. How can get rid of cancer without a cure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you search "cancer" on Google it will give you some facts and cancer.gov might help you.

That's the thing it'll show you sites but when you go to use them the say "Sorry, this website not currently accessible because it is an unknown website"

1.Cancer is the name given to a collection of related diseases. In all types of cancer, some of the body’s cells begin to divide without stopping and spread into surrounding tissues. Cancer can start almost anywhere in the human body, which is made up of trillions of cells. Normally, human cells grow and divide to form new cells as the body needs them. When cells grow old or become damaged, they die, and new cells take their place.

2.Sometimes cancer can be prevented. Looking at the whole country, it is quite possible that more than half of cancer deaths could be prevented -- if no one used tobacco and if everyone took steps to improve their health. Of course, that is a big "if." But is there a way to guarantee that you or your loved ones won't get cancer? So far, nothing has been found that is proven to prevent every case of cancer. Right now we know there are ways to prevent many cases of cancer in large groups of people. For example, almost all cervical cancer is caused by HPV. The virus has also been linked to cancers of the vulva, vagina, penis, anus, and throat. In addition to following a healthy lifestyle and cancer screening guidelines, vaccinating against HPV will be a step toward preventing cervical, vulvar, vaginal, penile, anus and throat cancer.

3.Research has shown that cancer cells develop in every human being. However, just because a cancer cell is produced in the body does not mean that this will lead to the formation of a tumor or subsequent metastasis. Because of the body’s natural defense system which consists of an immune surveillance system, a repair mechanism and other regulatory mechanisms that detect newly produced cancer cells, cancer cells are identified and destroyed before they become tumors. As long as this natural defense system is functioning properly, the body is able to protect itself from cancer. - See more at: http://www.sunridgemedical.com/conditions/cancer-care/#sthash.a0Sa6gor.dpuf
