PLEASE HELP!! Graphing logarithmic functions f(x)= log_3 x domain: range: parent function & transformations:

OpenStudy (clamin):

you dont have to draw the graph because i already have it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain of the log (any log) is \(x>0\) you cannot take the log of a negative number or zero

OpenStudy (clamin):

what about the range and parent &tranformation @satellite73

OpenStudy (photon336):

\[Log_{10}(3x)\] pretty sure the range would be all real numbers. but the domain would be any number greater than 1/3 because \[3*(\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }) = 1 | \log_{10}(1) = 0 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

range of the log is all real numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain is \(x>0\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea what the "parent function" for anything is, certainly not for \[f(x)=\log_3(x)\]
