i use a website called mathpapa.com and when you put in E^4(1/2)(1-1) it says that it equals 54.59815 so i rounded off to the tenths position and i got 54.6

\[\sum_{n=1}^{4}\ (\frac{ 1 }{ 2})^{n-1} = \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^0+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^1+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^2+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^3\] That's also the expanded form: There's a problem with this answer though. Raising a number under 1 (1/2 in this case) to a power makes the number smaller, so the answer is going to be between 1 and 2. Can you evaluate it?
