What is the formula for arc length?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If s=arc length, and r=the radius of the arc in question, and theta=the central angle corresponding to the arc, then s = r (theta), or \[s=r \theta\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Note: the central angle MUST be expressed in radians (not in degrees).

OpenStudy (littlet):

alright. Thank you so much! Your a life saver!

OpenStudy (mathmale):

My pleasure. Have fun calculating arc length! ;)

OpenStudy (littlet):

Lol thank you :)

OpenStudy (littlet):

Oh one more thing you said it was s= r.. how do you do the 0 with the line through it?
