OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

@PoetryPrincess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I am not that smart. I have no idea

OpenStudy (poetryprincess):

Sorry, I don't know. xD

OpenStudy (isaacsgames):

Me too :( . Well I could find out but I don't have enough time!! I have to go to the doctors!

OpenStudy (bobo-i-bo):

Do you know what a cyclic quadrilateral is and what the properties of cyclic quadrilaterals are?

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

@TylerMckinney16 Ganeshie already helped with this question yesterday.

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

See, the opposite angles in a cyclic quad add up to 180 degrees. Do you understand this statement at least?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Yeah.

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Okay, that's good. Can you interpret it using the figure you attached?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Can u show me how to do that?

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

The angles opposite each other are 112 and x

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Also y and 81.

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Ok cool.

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

See that those angles are facing each other diagonally. Now because its a cyclic quad, those opposite angles when added together will always sum up to 180.

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

oh ok i understand that.

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Very good. Now can you find x and y using what I just said?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Yeah:)

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Good. Let's see you do it.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

What grade are you in?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

11th

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you not understand now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did some body tag me?
