Knowing about the opposition of environmental laws, (I was in a program in my highschool where I studied environmental science for 4 painful years) Conservatives were against the environmental movement in the 1970s because they did not want the federal to gain more power, but the ultimate goal is to make money so I would go with A.

Ah. Something I thought I would hate, but once you get passed Colonial history it is golden. Love the World Wars, Civil War, and the Prohibition times.
I had to know like 60 different environmental laws and the years they were enacted... :/
