I hate politics, but how bout a politic's section! Where you can catch up on the latest Donald Trump BS! Just Kidding, seriously though, there should be one, beats Fox News ;p

Hey Matt! Not sure what Marco is saying -- this is the correct section for a website suggestion! As a poli-sci minor, I'd like to see that be implemented too! But due to conflicting viewpoints, I can see that being a potential wargrounds! My suggestion is going to the chatbox and discuss politics there if the time is right! Or PMing me! Have a good day.

I think talking about politics especially with younger adults is important regardless of how controversial it may be. Although I can understand that this website is probably trying to be family friendly and might not be able to handle how repulsive politics is today without it getting a little out of hand. What chatbox is most appropriate for political conversations?

Or you can go to a certain chat and have a Moderator moderate it while you talk about politics and if things start to get nasty, then the Moderator can come on. :)

A politic section could be established and if things ever get out of hand a moderator can always break things up if things get heated. In my opinion I think it could really be educational. A lot of people, (especially younger adult) aren't aware/care or have the time to know whats going in our country (assuming you all live in the U.S.)

I actually really like this idea. It could really help students be a little more educated with politics and government. As mentioned, it might become a place where many people are arguing on their political views, but they are also required to follow the code of conduct and be respectful and understanding. When you see two views of something, you understand it more. I feel like this section can be for questions like why one should get involved in politics and why it's important, although I can kind of smell more students using it for answers on their government tests. Still, I think it would be a great place to share knowledge on government. And people can even talk about a certain politician like Trump. There can be questions like why Trump is hated or what he plans on doing to "make America great again." I would hope questions like these would have answers like "He's planning on doing x, y, and z, hoping it will make our country better, but I personally think there is a major flaw in in z and it might not lead to what he wants it to" instead of answers that say, "nothing." But yeah, I think this would be great. :]

@DarryQX Exactly! I personally like to keep a open mind at all times and would very much like to understand another persons point of view, particularly on why your voting for who? or who to vote for? Asking questions like why should we have free educational tuition (obvious answer..) but conversations can go deeper, like what are the pro and cons of having free tuition! (Bernie Sanders wants this). Whats true and whats false according to what he/she said? What would also be amazing is debunking bullpellet. Another example, Hillary Clinton and whether or not she can be trusted (Bernie accused her for working for the banks) because she wouldn't show him us her transcripts. Stuff like this, I'm barely keeping up with politics so if a section could be established to minimize research and debates (which are pretty much roasts right now lol) and everything involving politics, governments, laws, freaking congress, and what not than that would be amazing useful and educational, because EVERYONE should know what is going on and actually utilize our rights (voting power).
