Keep Moving Forward - Banjo Nelson (edited) Here's a song that I recorded and re-edited. Let me know what you think. Thanks! https://soundcloud.com/tanner-nelson-193373466/keep-moving-forward Also feel free to check out this song that I recorded raw. It's a sneak peak at a project I'll be starting after I release my original album next month. Thanks! https://soundcloud.com/tanner-nelson-193373466/what-a-wonderful-world

THE REPLACEMENT FOR THE HARMONICA IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT <3 great job, this take is like ten times better. Everything is in proportion, except your voice might be a tiny bit quiet compared to the music, but that's literally all I have to say, so kudos (:

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Sweet! thanks. Yeah, I think I might redo the vocals altogether once I get someone for the harmony part, but I'm glad you like it. I think I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Atsie (atsie):

YES!!! @tanner23456 You did it!! After hearing this re-edited, its like I feel in love with it all over again. Scratching the harmonica was a better idea than I had expected it to be. I was thinking it could still work if re-recorded differently without the effects. But you replaced it, and its a lot more enjoyable on the ears. What did you do? Did you use an electric guitar with some kind of effect or amp on it? Or was one note on the banjo with effect on it? Curiosity's killin me! :P The only thing left is definitely the vocal's, but overall I'm super geeked about this. You've done a great job so far! :) :)

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Hey, thanks! Yeah, it's the electric guitar with a reverb effect on the amp and then an analog delay when I edited it. I'm glad you like it. Now I just have to polish up the vocals. I'm really trying to get these songs done because I'm planning on releasing my EP next month. How many songs do you think it should have?

Atsie (atsie):

Your absolutely welcome! And I had a nagging feeling it was the electric. It sounds really really great actually! The reverb really made it snap into place. As to your EP, most EP's have a maximum of 6 songs on them. I've never seen anymore, except for one person who did 9 songs and that is by far rare. The minimum I've seen is 4 songs How many songs I think it should have is how many song's your willing to put the work into. You could go in between and do 5 songs. It all doesn't matter either way. What matters is that you do whatever your happy with, and whatever makes the art complete in itself. Whatever the case, you've got my support the whole way. Guaranteed! :)

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Thansk @Atsie you're the best! Thanks for all your advice and input and support. It's much appreciated. I'll let you know when my EP is finished.

OpenStudy (big_mensa961):

It was Good Keep it up

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Thank you. :)

Atsie (atsie):

Ooh, and one last thing @tanner23456 I listened to your What a Wonderful World cover, and I MUST say..... WHAT a wonderful cover!!! ♥ Naturally, I tend to like the blues and softer songs like the one you covered, and you really did a beautiful job. What made it so amazing was how raw it was as well as how you applied the ukulele to it. Your voice on its own is formed to sound the way it does, and for this cover especially.....I don't know, it had a soothing effect almost! Whatever this project is, I hope you spill the beans soon because I'm curious to know after hearing that cover! :)

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Hey thanks. Yeah, I'll announce the details for that project on social media after I release my EP next month. I'm pretty excited about it though.

Atsie (atsie):

Sounds good! Keep up the hard work :)
