OpenStudy (spicytaco1):

Classify this triangle as acute, right, or obtuse

OpenStudy (spicytaco1):

OpenStudy (mathmusician):

That i believe would be an acute triangle

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Acute: sides that equal LESS THAN 90 DEGREES

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Right: 1 angle is exactly 90 degrees, the rest can be acute, but still a right if one angle measures 90.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Obtuse: One angle is greater than 90, the rest could be acute, but one must be greater than 90 to be classified, obtuse.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Find k. All must equal 180 degrees (or add up to). So, 44.1 + 47.6 = 91.7. Minus 180? 88.3. So, it would be in fact an acute triangle. Since all sides are less than 90 degrees.

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

yes Ms. Smarties is right, it is acute
