Hello, I do not know how to figure this out. Please help. Medal. An Native American tepee is a conical tent. Find the number of skins needed to cover a teepee 10 ft. in diameter and 12 ft. high. Each skin covers 15 sq. ft. (use = 3.14) 13 14 <---answer 15

Please check your formula for "cone lateral area." See": http://www.bing.com/search?q=cone+lateral+area&src=IE-SearchBox&FORM=IESR02&pc=EUPP_UE02 Find the area of the teepee, not including the base. Divide that area by "15 sq. ft." The result, rounded up to the nearest integer, is the # of skins needed to cover the teepee.
