The cooking teacher said, "The mango has a slightly sour taste." D. The cooking teacher said, "the mango has a slightly sour taste."

Elsa213 (elsa213):

Why do you suppose the correct answer is?

OpenStudy (yinshy):

D

OpenStudy (brooklynsshaw):

Letter A cannot be correct because "The Cooking Teacher" should not be capitalized.

OpenStudy (brooklynsshaw):

Letter D cannot be correct as well because the first letter in every sentence should be capital. Therefore, the word "The" in which describing the mango, should be capital.
