A rectangular container is 25 cm long and 20 cm wide. If it holds 1 liter of water when full, what is its height? ^helping my sister with her homework and we can't figure this one out

OpenStudy (elitedamosh):

1 L = \[1000cm ^{3}\] so \[25\times20 = 500\] \[1000\div500 = 2\] So the height is 2cm because if you multiply all the numbers together, you get 1000 cm cubed which is 1L

OpenStudy (elitedamosh):

I hope that helped

it did, thank you so much

OpenStudy (elitedamosh):
