@radar um im not good at trig nor did i have time to study it since my school thinks im some genius and gives me an hour to complete all 6 of my classes and the rest of the time given is sessions.

In a triangle, the tangent of an angle is the opposite side divided by the adjacent side.

Looking at the first one, you need to know what cos x (refer to your figure) x is in the same location as angle a in my drawing. Cos x would be B/C (adjacent side divided by hypotenuse. Now you would need to figure what function of angle x or y (a or b in my figure would also equal B/C.
