What is a criticism of labeling countries as developed? They often must adhere to a western style economy to be considered developed. They must participate in a free-trade agreement with other nations to be considered developed. They exist only in North America and Europe and are not inclusive of other parts of the world. They ignore key environmental issues whereas developing nations do not.
I think we can get rid of the last option. as we know the US is a developed country and leads the world in environmental protection.
A.
We can deduct the third option, Korea and Japan are known as develpoed nations.
B should be deducted. Development is not nessecarily categorized by trade.
OK thanks so answer is A
A would be the most logical answer because Western culture is generally the popular basis in categorizing the state of a nation. the US is usually considered the exanmple of development in the world. which is sort of negative for some countries.
