Question

OS should get a more effective status bar. >.<

There should be two options on it, 1.Online to help users. 2. Online to get help studying. That way people will able to know who is free to tag. and who to leave alone.

I was only online today to get help, but I couldn't because I keep getting tagged, and messages asking for help.

I want to help people, but not when I need help. c: I understand that not everyone will follow this though, and it has flaws.

I still wanted to suggest it.

this sounds like a great idea. although i still think people would tag you just because they see you are online and you have helped them before

I think that was kinda the purpose of titles
but I think having statuses would be a good idea too ^_^
(that way we can also include the much needed afk)

but not sure how moderating the status would work though (if someone made an inappropriate status).... I suppose instead of custom statuses it could just be pre-written options....

I'll bring it up to the devs once things cool down a bit for them (preetha's got them working on a different project atm)

You ask a question in English... at the same time you see a question pop up in that same section. It's homework you're familiar with, so you stop and help the person. That's why this could be confusing. You could be doing both at the same time.

That's rarely though for me. I am either helping, or studying. I won't be doing both at once. You have a valid point, and I guess many users would be doing that, so that's why there can be like a third option on the status? I don't know, all I know is I'd like to stop the notifications while I work. This suggestion has many flaws, but it was a nice concept.. I guess :)
