ILovePuppiesLol (ilovepuppieslol):

what do u think

OpenStudy (cryleeb):

I know its not C, since Lincoln said he didnt want conflict but would protect the Union no matter what.

ILovePuppiesLol (ilovepuppieslol):

tru

OpenStudy (cryleeb):

so what would it be?

ILovePuppiesLol (ilovepuppieslol):

its either A or D but leaning towards A

OpenStudy (naenae17):

leaning towards A also

OpenStudy (study.geek.123):

It is A, because habeas corpus is "a writ that is used to bring a party who has been criminally convicted in state court into federal court", according to Cornell' Law School's website (excuse my grammar). I am pretty sure Lincoln did not have anything to do with habeas corpus until the war had started.
