alones (alones):

3√45 i have no idea how should i start;~;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Break it up! 3*√45 You obviously can't simplify 3... but you can simplify √45! What numbers multiply to equal 45?

alones (alones):

it simplifies by 5 and 9

alones (alones):

3 and 145 also .. but i stil don't know what do i do with those numbers

alones (alones):

whoops 3 and 15

OpenStudy (emmanuel77m):

9√ 5

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\[\large 3~\sqrt{45} = 3~\sqrt{9\times 5} = 3~\sqrt{9}~\sqrt{5} = \cdots\]

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

\[3\sqrt{45}\] \[\sqrt{45}=3\cdot \sqrt{5}\] \[=3\cdot \:3\cdot \sqrt{5}\] \[\mathrm{Multiply\:the\:numbers:}\:3\cdot \:3=9\] \[=\sqrt{5}\cdot \:9\]

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

@AloneS Are you gotit

alones (alones):
