OpenStudy (converseking5281):

what is E=MC2 mean?

OpenStudy (dboome):

E=mc^2 is the rest energy of an object of mass m

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

the equation simpliciter is the owlet end of spesh rel; but also, amongst other things, serves as the bridge between the laws of conservation of mass and energy

OpenStudy (tejas21):

Well..Einstein considered that the whoe of physics could be interpreted as the spillover (having basic origin) as the same thing...hence the equation is just the reflection of the fact that mass and energy are equivalent...u say there is a (1/6.022 ×10 (23)) gm mass of 931.5 Mev energy. .its just the same
