Should colleges accept students with high test scores or students with strong extracurricular backgrounds? How can this thesis statement be improved?
Perhaps the question should state: "Should colleges focus more on a student's academic performance or on the student's involvement in extracurricular activities." This makes it less "one or the other" which colleges don't do. Imagine if schools only looked at test grades or only looked at involvement! Hope this helps :D
