Yeah, I have to agree that I'm a sucker for fretless, but if you're going for a more rock sound, ibanez is pretty nice sounding reasonably priced bass.

So, the reason I like the fretless is the sound that you get out of it. It's just more of a classic sound where you can slide and get all the in between notes. It's probably just because that's the style of music I like.
