[Medal] What is the inverse of f if f(x) =.... Equation in comments

OpenStudy (ltrout):

\[f(x)=\sqrt[3]{x-2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the inverse is x^3 + 2

OpenStudy (ltrout):

May I ask how you got that answer? @CasidyCat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the inverse you switch x and y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=cbrt(y-2) cube each side x^3=y-2 add two to each side x^3 + 2 = y

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Ah. Thanks @CasidyCat Looks like I'm always overthinking simple problems.
