OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 1 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/7 = something over 7 What over 7 is the same thing as 1 over 7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alternatively you could cross-multiply and get 7x = 7 Divide both sides by 7 and you get x = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its just 1 ? @sandsalamand & @ijakez

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its 7. right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok let's see, if you put in 7 for z, then you get \[\frac{ 7 }{ 7} = \frac{ 1 }{ 7}\] That's not right is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's 1!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok , i see. Thank you @sandsalamand & @ijakez

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, because if you put in 1 for z then you get \[\frac{ 1 }{ 7 } = \frac{ 1 }{ 7}\]
