Because both triangles are right triangles and the mark in the middle of CD and DA indicate that CD=DA, you know that angle ABD= angle BCD. Because you know that angle ABD=37 (the problem tells you), that means that angle BCD=37 also. Also, angle ABC encompasses both angles ABD and BCD. In other words, angle ABC= angle BCD+angle ABD So substitute for the values you know: Angle ABC= 37 + 37 Angle ABC= 74
