OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

which of the following inequalities matches the following graph? 2x + y < 7 2x − y > 7 2x + y < −7 The correct inequality is not listed

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

@Qwertty123

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

@imqwerty

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

there you are.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

2x+y<7

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

you sure?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

okay well we know that the point \((0,~0)\) is there included in the graph so whatever the correct inequality is it must satisfy when we put the point \((0,~0)\) in it so in \((0,~0)\) x=0 and y=0 putting x=0 and y=0 must satisfy the correct inequality try putting it in all those options the one which holds true on simplification is your answer! :)

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

check out all three graphs and you can compare them with your question's graph :)

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

alrighty then. thanks guys!!!! i got a few more.... want me to open a new question or add them to this?

OpenStudy (ijlal):

just add them here if you wish :)

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

ok. got it.

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

x greater than or equal to −7 x less than or equal to −7 y less than or equal to −7 y greater than or equal to −7

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

i think it is y less than or equal to -7....

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

@ijlal

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

XD Someone beat me to this! Sorry for being so late!

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

oh its fine, man. you can still help out with this one.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

the second option is right x less than or equal to −7

OpenStudy (ijlal):

i will post the rest other option's graph in a moment so you can see why were you wrong and why are those the answer to your question.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

What are you using? if i may ask

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

Now you can see that Option 1 , 3 ,4 are wrong and how :) that is why option 2 is correct :)

OpenStudy (ijlal):

I am using a software graphmatic download it from download.com :)

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

is that a download? if so, how can I find that?

OpenStudy (ijlal):

just download the software from download.com the name of the software is graphmatica

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

cool

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

a few more, if you are up for it

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

x less than or equal to 0 x greater than or equal to 0 y less than or equal to 0 y greater than or equal to 0

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

the line is solid that runs along origin. shaded under the line.

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

@ijlal

OpenStudy (ijlal):

what do you want me to do with this ? is there a graph that you forgot to post?

OpenStudy (ijlal):

@needhelpinalgebra i didnt understand you question completely did you forget to mention something that should we compare these 4 options with your graph?

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

hold on, brother.

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

y less than or equal to 0 is the correct option :)

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

awesome

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

−2x + 3y > 7 2x − 3y < 7 −3x + 2y > 7 3x − 2y < 7

OpenStudy (ijlal):

try solving these questions by yourself if you don't understand then ask :) it will help you understand your questions completely :)

OpenStudy (ijlal):

Try solving this one on your own post the solution and then i will post the answer :) !

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

got it.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

which one was it then ?

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

no, not like that. i meant, i am gonna figure this one out

OpenStudy (ijlal):

okie if you got stuck do ask :)

OpenStudy (ijlal):

i will post the solution then you can work how i got the answer :)

OpenStudy (ijlal):

OpenStudy (ijlal):

the 4th option is correct :)

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

from the way i seen it, you typed it in to the download lmao

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

brb, gotta get my brother
