OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

please help, this is my last question and idk how to do it Find functions f and g so that h(x) = (f ∘ g)(x). h(x) = (6x - 14)^8

OpenStudy (emmilyrock1127):

f(g(x) so substitute g(x) into f() and you should get h(x) you replace x in f with g(x) so looking at the 1st choice A. f(x^8) = 6(x^8) - 14 not what you want... B f(-14) = 6(-14)^8 - 14 not what you want.... so its C or D just repeat the substitution process

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

@emmilyrock1127 that would work except... i have no answers choices i have to do it all... and idk where to start on this

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

all the info i had is whats up there....

OpenStudy (needhelpinalgebra):

solve it. PEMDAS

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

but i havce to make F and G equal that idk how to get F and G.... or how to make it equal that expression

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):
