He could have made more appeal to everyone's emotions it might have been logical but being emotional with a audience that moves them to agreeing with you and etc. So since Brutus wasn't emotional with the people they didn't see why they should be by his side. The speech that Anthony had gave was emotional which had made they people agree with him like when he had said "He was my friend, faithful and just to me." that was emotional.
