Was it the right time for the U.S. to withdraw from Vietnam or should they have done it sooner? Why?

They withdrew for the sole reason of too many casualities, and the fact that they knew they wouldn't win the war because of such. But... no, i dont really have an idea.

I think they withdrew at the right time.

I'm not sure if they should've withdrawn sooner or not. The internet isn't providing anything child's play.

Then again, 2 years after American troops left, Songhai fell into communist hands. So maybe they shouldn't have left.
