PLZ Help (I've had this same question multiple times this week but no one helps me with it)

Hmm, let's try a birds eye view type thing. We see it as a rectangle right now. Not let's fly and look at the top view. It would obviously look like a line, right? They want you to rotate it 360 about the y axis. 360 degrees in also a circle, so we would have a 3d object with a circle at the top and bottom and the rectangle would be stretched, I guess. Reminds me of a cylinder

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

So after we find the height and width of the rectangle (both given) We would know that the height of rectangle = radius of cylinder and the width of rectangle = height of cylinder That should help with finding the surface area also, since you will have the variables and stuff

OpenStudy (skittles_for_life6422):

i know the first on is cylinder

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

So for the second part and using the information I wrote, what would the second part be?

OpenStudy (skittles_for_life6422):

not sure

OpenStudy (skittles_for_life6422):

i dont know what to do!!!
