Well if it refers to these elements, then something that could have been interesting is the fact that he became a millionare at the age of 30. That will fall under the category of career.
This one will fall under "reasons for fame". He became infamous and rich because he rigged most of the machines from where he won the money. This is why he said that he would bet on anything but the weather, since he couldn't control it.
And another element that would be interesting is that he started out at an early age by gambling and acting as a loan shark. And soon enough he met business men and crime figures who contributed to him becoming a millionare.
